How has your company changed over the years? How haven’t we changed? With increased knowledge and capabilities across our entire industry, it’s hard to keep up with all the changes. Some things that have certainly stuck out include digital agriculture tools and techniques, the overall reduction in pesticide use as a result of highly targeted and efficient new active ingredients, regulatory landscape hurdles and asynchronous biotech approvals, and the list goes on and on.
How do you see your company growing in the future? Continued focus on the tools that growers in the field need…what’s needed, how it’s used, when it’s used, how we can help provide novel, innovative solutions, and a continued reliance on sound science along every step of the development process.
Interesting tidbits about your business: The agrichemical industry is more highly regulated than the pharmaceutical industry. Meanwhile, the demand for food, feed, fuel, and fiber continues to increase, increasing the need for continued innovation in agriculture.
How has OABA helped your business or the agribusiness industry? OABA has provided consistent support to the Ohio agricultural industry through its advocacy, network connections and informational resources and we look forward to a continued partnership as we work together to feed the world.
