The Na-Churs Plant Food Company was founded in 1946, utilizing a “new liquid” concept of placing starter fertilizer with the seed, which was gaining popularity with American farmers. In 1998, Na-Churs Plant Food Company acquired Alpine Plant Foods Corporation – a leader in liquid fertilizer in Canada – to form Nachurs Alpine Solutions.
NACHURS continues to grow and evolve, recently announcing a new VP of Marketing, Angela Kloha, in Marion with Murray Van Zeggelaar shifting focus to Canadian sales. The company also recently announced they have become a division of Wilbur Ellis – a company with a 100-year history.
