Steve Queen Joins Safety Made Simple, Inc. to Develop Ag Related Online Training

Safety Made Simple, Inc., of Olathe, KS, recently announced that Steve Queen has joined their content development team. Steve will be developing several courses relating to grain safety and agronomy. Steve has over forty years of experience in the grain, feed, agronomy, and transportation industry. Steve is currently a safety consultant providing safety compliance assessments, program development, and regulatory compliance services for several agricultural companies in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana.

In addition to being a safety consultant, Steve is an instructor for the Safety and Training Rescue Association (SATRA). Steve is also the training coordinator for the Grain Safety Training Center in Sydney, Ohio as well as being active member of the Ohio and Indiana Risk Coordinator Groups and the Ohio Agribusiness Association.

Safety Made Simple has a full range of online safety courses covering general industry, grain handling, feedyard, food safety, and agronomy. Each course establishes three to four key learning objectives and uses real life, industry specific scenarios to improve employee retention. The system allows an administrator to easily assign, track, and generate a wide range of reports. Courses are also available in English and Spanish. Safety Made Simple also offers a “Course Builder” tool which allows clients to build their own courses within the platform. They can insert script, audio, images, video, and links to company specific documents.
