Women Leading in Ohio Agribusiness Fall Summit Welcomes 118 Attendees

OABA welcomed 118 women to the 2025 Women Leading in Ohio Agribusiness Fall Summit on November 19. The full-day event provided opportunities for learning, networking and leadership development for professionals from across the state.

The summit opened with an energizing keynote from Brandi Buzzard, who delivered Bet the Farm (On Yourself), a powerful call to action for attendees to take bold risks, lead with confidence and challenge the status quo. Her message of resilience, authenticity and courage set the tone for the day.

Attendees then engaged in a series of breakout sessions designed to provide practical tools and foster meaningful conversations. Topics included navigating controversial agricultural issues with Brandi Buzzard; leveling up leadership with Jenny Cox, AgOne Program Director; preparing for retirement with Steve Hamilton, Nationwide Advanced Consulting Group; and finding balance in work, wellness and life with Amy Zimmerman, Vital Fitness Owner.

The event closed with a data-driven keynote from Cam Camfield, CEO and Founder of Stratovation Group, who offered insights into emerging trends shaping the agri-food value chain. His session explored the political, economic, societal, technological and environmental factors influencing agribusiness in the coming years.

“We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for this year’s Fall Summit,” said Melinda Witten, OABA President and CEO. “It’s inspiring to see so many women investing in themselves as current and future leaders in Ohio agribusiness.”

OABA thanks the speakers, sponsors and attendees for making this year’s summit a success. Event photos will be shared soon on OABA’s social media platforms.
