Domestic and International Programs Administrator

Position Description Summary:

The Domestic and International Programs Administrator provides administrative assistance to the ASTA domestic and international teams to ensure the programming under these areas moves forward in a timely and successful manner. The approximate split between support for international and domestic programs is 70% and 30%.

Responsibilities:

Reports To:

Senior Director of International Programs and Policy and Vice President Government and Regulatory Affairs for operational purposes. Also to the Vice President of Finance and Administration for administrative purposes. This position is non-exempt.

Qualifications:

This position requires excellent computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. A strong candidate must have familiarity/experience with the MAP and FMD regulations, as well as the Federal Travel Regulation and Uniform Code 2 CFR 200. The candidate must be people oriented and willing to work closely with members and foreign delegations.  Writing, editing, knowledge of international markets for seed, and foreign language skills are beneficial.  Some travel will be required.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
