As a Grain Handler/Driver you should be a self-starter, possess independent-thinking skills and have a desire to learn both grain and agronomy.

Employees are required to work occasional weekends, holidays and overtime as needed. It is imperative that the successful candidate display a positive attitude that promotes teamwork and a favorable image of the cooperative.

Main Responsibilities:

Properly load/unload trucks
Perform minor maintenance and greasing of equipment
Work with rail car movement as required within the plant
Assist with cleaning of bins and silos
Learn the proper operation of all equipment
Maintain and clean work area on a daily basis
Deliver grain, feed, fertilizer or chemicals
Position Requirements
Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record (5 years)
Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
Must be drug free and submit to drug testing and random drug testing
Must have Class B CDL with tanker endorsement or willing to obtain
Must be able to secure and maintain a minimum of one year medical card Preferred Qualifications
Must be safety minded
Must be able to meet and work with strict deadlines
Must possess a strong attention to detail
Must have good communication skills
Initiative to work independently and also in a team environment
Adaptable, self-starter, dependable

These are labor intensive positions which will require bending, lifting, twisting, pushing, pulling, shoveling, climbing, working at heights and other various laborious activities.
