Field Sales Agronomist (Eastern Region)

GROWMARK, Inc. is hiring a Field Sales Agronomist for their Eastern Region. 

WHERE YOU’LL BE WORKING

This position will allow you to work from home (in central/northwest Ohio). The unique opportunity to work from home will give you flexibility and is just one of the perks that comes with this position!

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

If you are a seed sales expert and interested in helping coach other sales professionals then GROWMARK can’t wait to talk to you!  GROWMARK is looking for a Field Sales Agronomist that is eager to provide seed sales/marketing leadership and support with customers and members in Ohio. 

A few key areas of emphasis include: Leading and initiating sales calls with targeted growers coordinated with assigned companies to promote FS supported seed brands and other assigned products. Providing seed leadership in the form of training, product knowledge and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve growth and profitability to members. Implementing business plans which includes the utilization of sales administration tools to drive growth and sales retention.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• BS degree in Ag Business or Agronomy, or the equivalent thereof 3 years or more of Ag sales related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of seed and crop protection sales
• Passed or the ability to pass the CCA and CCS (or CCS proficiency) exams.
• A knack for relationship building and problem-solving 
• Must be a team-player through and through!
