Director of Agricultural Sales

CHS Aligned Solutions is working with a well-respected, profitable member cooperative in eastern Wisconsin to hire a Director of Agricultural Sales. This position is open due to healthy growth within the cooperative and is an excellent opportunity for a motivated person to create significant impact.

Position Overview:

This position will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for sales and marketing of agricultural products and services. An overview of responsibilities includes:

Develop and implement sales & marketing plans across Ag Business divisions to create incentives for cross-selling opportunities. (Agronomy, Feed, Grain).
Train sales skills and listen for opportunities to improve divisional sustainability. This includes mentoring team members to maximize performance through professional development coaching.
Conduct market research on area demographics to consider potential business opportunities and ways to gain market share.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, a strong agribusiness management background and proven sales coaching experience is required.

Knowledge in agronomy, feed and grain divisions
Strong business financial knowledge including budgeting, forecasting and market analytics
Ability to analyze various demographic factors in relation to industry and economic trends
