Career Development Events are contests that students compete in to demonstrate their knowledge about agriculturally related careers. More than 4,000 students compete annually. Career Development Events can be sponsored for $1,500. The following programs are unsponsored for 2017:
Proficiency Awards are areas in which students are recognized for their work-based learning experience, also known as SAEs (Supervised Agricultural Experiences). More than 460 applications were received and the top four students in each area will interview at State Convention. Proficiency Awards can be sponsored for $2,000.
