Prepare for the 2021 OABA Membership Directory

The release of the 2021 OABA Membership Directory is just around the corner! With distribution scheduled for early June, OABA is seeking input now to ensure the directory is up-to-date.

Companies may update their employee directory listings by submitting changes to Nicole Volk (nvolk@oaba.net) or Andrew Allman (aallman@oaba.net) before March 12. Your key contact should have received an email with your current listings on Feb. 16. If your company did not receive this email, please contact Nicole Volk.

New for 2021! Company-Level Member Sectors

To better serve our members, OABA is revamping our member categorization process. Moving forward, OABA members will self-identify into our 9 key member sectors: Agronomy; Plant Nutrients; Grain; Livestock Feed/Nutrition; Food; Equipment; Energy; Technology; and Services (e.g. finance, insurance, legal, transportation, etc.). For inclusion in the 2021 Member Directory, it is important companies identify their company’s sector(s), in addition to directory listing updates.

With this new process, OABA will no longer be listing “Products and Specialties” under employee information in the printed directory. Instead, a new segment of the directory will list Members by Sector – creating an easy reference section for members in our key sectors. Later this year, company employees will have the opportunity to select subcategories of these key sectors and those selections will be available for members to search on OABA’s Digital Directory.

Advertisements in the OABA Member Directory are a great networking tool allowing you to maximize your exposure in this valuable resource which reaches 95 percent of Ohio’s commercial agribusiness professionals!

More than 1,100 copies of the directory will be distributed to OABA members across the country starting in June 2021.
