Ag Organizations Partner to Host 4R Technology Field Day

The Ohio AgriBusiness Association (OABA) is partnering with The Fertilizer Institute, Environmental Tillage Systems, The Mosaic Company, Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers Association, Ohio Soybean Council and other industry leaders to host a 4R Technology Review Field Day to continue efforts that strengthen the industry’s commitment to improving water quality in Lake Erie and waterways throughout Ohio.

“Improving the quality of Ohio’s water continues to be a top priority for us,” said Chris Henney, president and CEO of OABA. “This event will feature speakers and field demonstrations that will highlight information and technology that can improve water quality.”

The free field day for retailers, farmers and other interested parties will take place Wednesday, September 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center, 135 Ohio 38, London, Ohio. Companies are encouraged to bring their customers with them to the event.

The program will feature Dr. Robyn Wilson from The Ohio State University and Dr. Kevin King from USDA-ARS, as well as a field demonstration with a SoilWarrior® strip till system. Continuing Education Credits are available for Certified Crop Advisers in attendance. Lunch is included. For event details and free online registration, visit oaba.net/events.
