Peterson Genetics, Inc. Announces Sales Staff Changes

Peterson Genetics, Inc. (PGI) has announced the addition of Brad Miller as the company’s eastern sales executive and a new role for Doug Goodman as sales executive emeritus.

Brad MillerAs the eastern sales executive, Miller will be responsible for licensing soybean genetics to seed companies in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and the Northeast.

Miller grew up on a dairy farm in southern Indiana, and studied ag business and agronomy at Purdue University where he received his bachelor’s degree in management.

Most recently, he was the corn/soybean product manager and technical seed manager for Winfield Solutions, where he was responsible for Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. He resides in Fort Wayne with his wife, Christina, and their four children.

Miller joins the PGI sales team consisting of Earl Barnaal (Canada, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin); Dave Denby (Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi and the East Coast); and Ben Peterson (Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa). Mike Peterson oversees the sales team and continues to work with select national accounts.

DougGoodman, transitioning from his previous role of eastern sales executive, has been named PGI’s sales executive emeritus and special projects manager.

As an integral part of the PGI sales team for the past 23 years, Goodman will assist the entire sales staff moving forward.
His first order of business will be to assist and introduce new sales executive, Brad Miller, to seed companies in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. Goodman plans to provide agronomy and disease updates, production management bulletins, speaking opportunities and support services on a national level.
