Chief Financial Officer
CHS Member Cooperative in West Central Wisconsin
CHS Aligned Solutions is excited to present an immediate need for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in west-central Wisconsin with a member cooperative. The team will be moving quickly on this hiring process and encourages those interested to apply online without delay.
Cooperative Summary:
This agricultural cooperative is diversified in Grain, Agronomy, Energy, and Convenience Stores and is experiencing healthy levels of growth.
This role is located an hour northeast of La Crosse, Wisconsin in the small community of Black River Falls. With many local amenities and good school districts, this is a wonderful place to raise a family and be part of a community.
Position Summary:
The primary responsibilities include analyzing, reviewing, and setting benchmarks for performance, analyzing operations for efficiency improvements, and advising the cooperative on financial solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experienced in handling financial analysis of multiple locations and business divisions.
- 8+ years of accounting experience in financial accounting focusing in agricultural industry segments.
- Previous experience as a controller, CFO and similar roles are helpful and a CPA background is preferred, however, not required.
- Previous, proven experience in accounting software, with preference of knowledge of AgVantage software.
- Good understanding of the cooperative business model including patronage and serving patron-owners.
