Director of Agricultural Sales

CHS Member Cooperative in Eastern Wisconsin

CHS Aligned Solutions is working with a well-respected, profitable member cooperative in eastern Wisconsin to hire a Director of Agricultural Sales. This position is open due to healthy growth within the cooperative and is an excellent opportunity for a motivated person to create significant impact. 

Position Overview:

This position will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for sales and marketing of agricultural products and services. An overview of responsibilities includes:

  • Develop and implement sales & marketing plans across Ag Business divisions to create incentives for cross-selling opportunities. (Agronomy, Feed, Grain).
  • Train sales skills and listen for opportunities to improve divisional sustainability. This includes mentoring team members to maximize performance through professional development coaching.
  • Conduct market research on area demographics to consider potential business opportunities and ways to gain market share.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, a strong agribusiness management background and proven sales coaching experience is required.

  • Knowledge in agronomy, feed and grain divisions
  • Strong business financial knowledge including budgeting, forecasting and market analytics
  • Ability to analyze various demographic factors in relation to industry and economic trends
